May 2017 – Shudder Speed

It’s Shudder Speed’s birthday!! And she’s also our May Skater of the Month! Shudder Speed has shown incredible resilience in the face of obstacles in her first year with the team. She has never lost her positive attitude or drive to learn and grow as a skater. No matter what the circumstance, she’s been stalwart in her efforts to skate with her team and also in her committee work, applying her skills as a photographer when needed. Though quiet, she has made her presence known and her team appreciates her grit and determination on and off the track. Thank you Shudder Speed, for choosing us as your derby family and for all you do. Happy birthday and congratulations on making Skater of the Month!
