About The Show Me Skate Invitational Tournament

The Show Me Skate Invitational Tournament is hosted annually by Springfield Roller Derby. The 2024 Show Me Skate brought skaters from all over the region for a 12-game tournament and mash-up!

The event also featured off-track games, photo ops and the chance cheer on some of your favorite teams. Over a dozen local businesses and organizations participated in the Vendor Village.

Accessibility Information

Jordan Valley Ice Park (JVIP) is ADA accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs or questions, please contact Jordan Valley Ice Park.

Outside the facility: There are designated accessible parking spaces available, some with room for a ramp. There is a wheelchair accessible on-ramp from the parking lot near the front of the building. At the west entrance, there is a button to open the door to the left.

Inside the facility: Show Me Skate is in the East rink, and you can access the track on the first floor. There is a small bump in the doorway, but it's not a step. To get to the second floor with designated disabled seating, you will find the elevator to the left of the west entrance. The downstairs bathroom only has one designated stall in each. The upstairs bathroom has two designated stalls in each.

Auditory landscape: The East rink of JVIP is a large space that will be loud in a room that’s already difficult to hear in. You might consider bringing sound blockers if sensitive to loud noises or bringing translating devices, if needed. The area outside of the rink tends to be quieter.
